About Us
Hello from Team Sol Bebé
Experimented in 2021 and launched in 2022, we are Rebekah and Daniel, parents of three. After noticing a gap in the market for ethical, sustainably sourced goods that were kind to the environment; we decided to bring that to Sunderland. A lot of the products you see available are have been tried and tested by us over our 4 years of parenting.
What does it all mean?
Ethical, Sustainable and Fairtrade.
In simple terms, its products that allow workers to receive a fair wage, a wage that allows them to support a family and live without struggle. It is products that don't harm the environment, made using resources that can be replaced. No fast, large scale production, only making what is necessary.
Who is Sol Designs?
Sol Designs is our own clothing brand, created with GOTS certified fabrics. No huge manufacturing factories, its Rebekah with a sketchpad and Daniel using a heat press at all hours of the night to bring the designs to life.
To avoid over production, we create a small amount for our physical store and then all online orders are made to order.
